Booking Terms and Conditions

PRICES AND QUOTES

A Little Snow Adventure reserves the right to vary prices and rates up to and including your final payment, including in the event of changes in currency exchange rates or price increases made by travel service suppliers, which include airlines, accommodation providers, transfer providers, and others. All prices provided in quotes and invoices are in AUD. All prices will be locked in upon receipt of your final payment.

BOOKING

All bookings are subject to availability at time of booking confirmation. In order to confirm your chosen travel arrangements, you must complete and submit the online booking form associated with your quote. Submission of the online booking form constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to these Booking Terms and Conditions. Your chosen travel service suppliers may also have terms and conditions associated with the services A Little Snow Adventure secures at your request. It is your responsibility to ensure that you understand and comply with such terms and conditions at the time of booking. A Little Snow Adventure can provide relevant supplier terms and conditions upon request.

PAYMENT

We accept direct debit and credit card payments. A credit card fee will apply for credit card payments.

DEPOSIT

A minimum deposit of $500.00 per person is required within seven days of submission of your online booking form. Some suppliers whose services you are booking may require an additional deposit to secure the booking – this will be outlined on your quote or otherwise advised by your consultant. All deposits are fully non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated in writing by A Little Snow Adventure.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATES AND FINAL PAYMENT

Some or all costs associated with your booking may be dependent on foreign exchange rates, which can fluctuate. The total price of the travel services you have requested will be recalculated based on the foreign exchange rate of the day your final payment is made. Contact your consultant on the day of final payment to confirm your total outstanding balance prior to payment. You must pay the full balance by the balance due date notified to you. Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date may cause auto-cancellation of your booking.

ALTERATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

We will do our best to accommodate an alteration request, but alterations may not always be possible. An administration fee of $50 per person per alteration will apply, on top of any applicable travel service supplier alteration fees, for alterations you request. We will notify you of the exact charges at the time of alteration.

Cancellation requests must be confirmed in writing. For cancellations requested by you 65 to 36 days prior to the first day of travel or accommodation (whichever comes first), a cancellation fee of 50% of the total package price will apply. For cancellations requested by you 35 to 11 days prior to the first day of travel or accommodation (whichever comes first), a cancellation fee of 70% of total package will apply. For cancellations requested by you 10 or fewer days prior to the first day of travel or accommodation (whichever comes first), a 100% cancellation fee will apply. No shows are non-refundable and will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Altered or cancelled bookings for any reason (including for matters outside your or our control) may also incur travel service supplier fees, which can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Travel service supplier fees may also apply when tickets or documents are re-issued. Where A Little Snow Adventure incurs any liability for a travel service supplier alteration or cancellation fee for any booking which is altered or cancelled for any reason, you agree to indemnify A Little Snow Adventure for the total amount of that fee. Where you seek a refund for an altered or cancelled booking for which payment has been made to the travel service supplier, we will not provide the relevant refund to you until we receive the funds from that travel service supplier (which can take 12 weeks or longer). In the event we are still holding the relevant funds, we can only provide you with a refund once we are authorised by the travel service supplier to process your refund, subject to that travel service supplier’s alteration or cancellation policy.

We will make every effort to inform you as soon as reasonably possible of a change to or cancellation of your booking made by a supplier and we will make every effort to assist you in alternative arrangements if required. However, A Little Snow Adventure is not liable or responsible for changes or cancellations made by travel service suppliers.

COVID-19

Unless otherwise advised in writing, these terms and conditions will apply and additional flexibility will not be offered in the event you alter or cancel your booking due to COVID-19, regardless of whether you are prevented from traveling by reasons such as COVID-19 related travel restrictions, beyond the control of A Little Snow Adventure. A Little Snow Adventure reserves the right to apply booking administration charges in the event that you decide to alter or cancel your booking due to COVID-19.

AIRFARES

All airfares quoted remain subject to availability at time of booking. Your chosen airline’s terms and conditions, including luggage limits, will apply. Additional fees for excess baggage, oversize baggage or sporting equipment (including skis, snowboards and associated equipment) may apply. A Little Snow Adventure will provide advice regarding baggage limits at time of booking and may be able to provide additional advice upon request, however, it is your responsibility to confirm baggage allowances and limits with your chosen airline. Airfares are non-transferrable. Airfares, airline taxes and airfare conditions can change at any time prior to final payment.

AIRLINE SCHEDULES

Flight check-in, boarding, departure and arrival times can change after booking. You are recommended to contact your airline 24 hours prior to your planned departure to confirm your scheduled check-in and departure times.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is your responsibility to ensure that you (and all members of your booking party) have adequate insurance cover for your holiday and that it covers all activities you will participate in. A Little Snow Adventure recommends that your cover includes cost of cancelation in the event of an accident or illness. The cover should also extend to the cost of repatriation due to an accident or illness. Not all insurers provide adequate cover for snow sports or other alpine or mountain activities, which can be inherently risky. We strongly recommend that you have insurance cover that provides sufficient coverage for all eventualities, including in relation to snow sports and other alpine and winter activities as appropriate. Insurance policies vary between suppliers. You are advised to carefully read and ensure that you understand the terms and conditions of your insurance cover.

RESPONSIBILITY

A Little Snow Adventure acts as an agent for and sells various travel-related products as an agent on behalf of travel service suppliers, including airlines, accommodation providers, transfer providers and others. Any booking, advisory and other services (such as processing an alteration or cancellation with the relevant supplier) that we provide to you are collateral to that agency relationship. Our obligation to you is to (and you expressly authorise us to) provide booking and advisory services, including making travel bookings on your behalf and arranging relevant contracts between you and travel service suppliers. A Little Snow Adventure is not itself a supplier of travel services and has no control over, or liability for, the services provided by third parties. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions, including conditions of carriage, cancellations policy and limitations of liability, imposed by these travel service suppliers. A Little Snow Adventure can provide you with copies of the relevant travel service supplier terms and conditions on request Your legal rights in connection with the provision of travel services are against the specific travel service supplier and, except to the extent a problem is caused by fault on our part, are not against A Little Snow Adventure. Specifically, if for any reason (excluding fault on our part) any travel service supplier is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your rights are against that supplier and not against A Little Snow Adventure.

PASSPORTS, VISAS AND OTHER TRAVEL PERMISSIONS

A Little Snow Adventure assumes that all travelers in your booking party have the required official travel documents and permissions in order to undertake all travel booked. It is your responsibility to ensure that this is the case. This may include passports and visas (many countries require passports remain valid for at least six months from the planned date of return and some countries require that travelers have a machine readable passport), proof of vaccinations (COVID-19 and otherwise) and valid COVID-19 test results. Any advice provided by A Little Snow Adventure on passport, visa, vaccination, COVID-19 test and other travel permission requirements is done in good faith and to the best of our knowledge, however such advice is provided in general terms only and it is your responsibility to confirm with the relevant authorities that any advice we provide is complete and correct with regards to your specific situation and that of your booking party. Any fines, penalties, payments, expenditures or other costs or liabilities incurred as a result of you or members of your booking party not having the required travel documents or permissions will be your sole responsibility.

LIABILITY

A Little Snow Adventure, its respective servants, agents and employees shall not be liable for any death, injury, damage, loss, property (including baggage), additional expenses, accident, delay or irregularity, whether in property, person or otherwise resulting directly or indirectly from delay, changes in accommodation, breakdown in equipment or vehicles, weather, strike, sickness, theft, cancellation of or changes in itinerary, activities booked on your behalf or undertaken by you or your booking party (including snow sports and other mountain and alpine activities), or other causes beyond their control.

FORCE MAJEURE

A Little Snow Adventure will not be liable or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by “Force Majeure”. For the purposes of these Booking Terms and Conditions, Force Majeure means any event beyond our or your travel service suppliers’ control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken. Examples include, whether actual or threatened, war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, epidemics, pandemics, fire, flood, earthquake, volcano, tsunami and all similar events outside the control of A Little Snow Adventure or the supplier(s) concerned.

JURISDICTION

If any dispute arises between you and A Little Snow Adventure, the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia will apply. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia and waive any right that you may have to object to an action being brought in those courts.

MODIFICATIONS TO THESE BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A Little Snow Adventure reserves the right to modify any of these Booking Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. If we make changes to any of these terms and conditions, we will post the amended terms and conditions on the alittlesnowadventure.com website. They will be effective upon posting. The applicable terms that apply are those in effect at the time you make a booking with A Little Snow Adventure.
